Best coffee?.?
I want to start drinking coffee, for what reason I am not sure..lol Maybe to give me that pick me up I need in the mornings..(mother of newborn and two year old) Anyways…I want to know just what the best coffee is for starters. I do know that I don’t like strong coffee..I have tasted this before. Instead, I would like some sort of flavor..preferably something sweet. I need fairly cheap coffee also..I don’t want to break the budget. Any suggestions?
Just buy some Folgers or generic ground coffee for coffee makers. Follow the directions on how to prepare. If you don’t like it too strong, maybe add less coffee grounds than called for.
Then add some International Delights creamer. About $2 for a 32 oz. bottle. It can be found in the refrigerated dairy section, next to the milk and creams.
They have a variety of delicious flavors that include french vanilla, hazelnut(mmm…), white choc…. It flavors plain coffee really well and there’s no need to add sugar, it’s sweet enough.
Buy cheap coffee and use suger and cream to suit your taste.
I allways add cinnemon myself.
TIM HORTONS! BEST COFFEE IN CANADA!
tim horttons is alright, starbucks is the shit
starbuck, it will get you fucking hooked
Maxwell house is a good coffee, so is Wal-Marts brand of Arabica coffe. Add creamer,(the powdered kind, it is better than milk.) And I sometimes put in a couple of drops of vanilla. You can add sugar if you want it sweet.
I realize this answer is not going to specifically address your request…but here goes anyway.
I have found an on-line resource for the very best coffee I have ever had. It’s called Boca Java and you can find them on the web at http://www.bocajava.com. Their coffee is not cheap…but, if you try it, you’ll see why. I have chosen to do something a little different than the other responders here. I have chosen to pay a little more for my coffee and simply drink less of it.
I make a small pot (instead of a huge one where I throw out half the coffee) and THOROUGHLY enjoy one to two cups a day.
The great thing about this company is that you can order as little or as much as you like and you can order as often or infrequently as you like. No pressure. One great feature they have is that they guarantee that they don’t roast your coffee until you order it…so it’s truly fresh.
They have regular and decaf in almost every flavor they sell and they have a bunch of flavors. Some of them are very typical and some are really unique. I’ve been ordering from them for about a year now and I will never go back to grocery store coffee.
A cool value-add is that they give you points every time you order which you can use for gadgets, mugs, etc…or free product (which makes it a little more reasonable).
Good Luck with the little ones…and treat yourself to something nice to start the day!
I feel that a good cup of coffee is worth every penny especially if I don’t have to doctor it up with flavoring. The most important thing to me is how the coffee is roasted and how fresh it is. I have found that hot air roasted coffee is really the smoothest and more flavorful. You can read more about it by going to:
http://www.flyingbean.com/?page=shop/roasting
You can also buy already flavored coffee at a variety of locations and I have found if you add a little cream or milk the flavor will be more enhanced.
Remember, not all coffee is roasted equal and when you find a good coffee you will know the difference and enjoy it even more.
I want to reduce my caffeine intake,
but it seems impossible….
So, decaf coffee is good for starters.
Try the eight o’ clock coffee. It’s inexpensive, and smooth and mellow. If you want the sweeter stuff, without breaking the bank then the Melitta hazenlut creme is the brew for you.
I would suggest you start with a good fresh roasted coffee bean and an inexpensive grinder. Coffee loses its fresh roasted flavor. Ground coffee will maintain the fresh roasted flavors for about 3 days where beans will last about 3 weeks.
To make your coffee stronger or weaker add more or less coffee or grind it finer ( stronger ) or courser (weaker). There are all kinds of flavors.
Pricing is all over the place. The best consistant coffee I have found comes from ccmcoffee. com. Their prices are low even after paying for shipping and the coffee is great. I usually get their colombian supremo.
Good coffee is like a fine wine and you need to look around and find the one you like the best. Good luck
