Is kopi luwak really the best coffee in the world?
a colleague talked about this today at work, she said its one the rarest and most expensive coffee in the world, but is it really the best tasting? and where can I buy some from?

As far as I know, kopi luwak IS the MOST expensive.
However, most expensive does not equal best tasting. A price of $100+ per pound is a novelty, not a symbol of excellence.
I have no desire to spend that much money on something that went through the digestive tract of any animal.
search online for "kopi luwak" and you can find a number of online stores that sell it.
This stuff is crapped out of an animal…for real. I have no need to buy that! lol
It’s not expensive because of its excellent taste, it’s expensive because it’s rare and exotic. I’ve heard it has a unique taste, but it’s rarely considered excellent coffee as coffee.
