What would you do……………………….?

You are doing an inventory of store merchandise and have been working for over 15 minutes on a complex counting task that requires your full concentration. A customer stops you and requests help in getting something down from a high shelf. Which of the following would you most likely do?

1) Stop doing the task and go help the customer, knowing that you will have to re-start the task from the beginning when you come back.
2) Ask the customer to wait just a minute and promise that you will help when you finish the task.
3) Tell the customer that you are unable to help at the moment, but that another associate should come by in a few moments.
4) Ask a co-worker to do the task while you help the customer.

*A customer asks you to show her how to use a product she wants to purchase (e.g., espresso machine or coffee grinder) that you are not very familiar with. The store is very busy and all of your co-workers are busy with other customers. Which of the following would you most likely do?

1. Wait with the customer until one of your co-workers is available to help the customer.
2. Tell the customer you are not familiar with the product, but would be happy to try and figure out how the product works.
3. Apologize to the customer and tell her that you do not know how it works.
4. Find a similar product that you are more familiar with and show it to the customer.

Starbucks Coffee question?

Hey guys, I bought the "Espresso Roast: Dense and Caramelly-Sweet" beans from Starbucks. However, I’m wondering if this means that they are "caramelised"? It may seem like a silly question to ask, though I thought I’d best be sure as such beans can clog my coffee grinder.

Worst comes to worst, I’ll have to ask the store to grind them for me; though the problem being that I don’t live near one (why I bought them to make at home).

Many thanks guys!

Which is better? Mr. Coffee or Hamilton Beach?

I love coffee so much, but I realize that I’m spending too much money on Starbucks for my everyday hazelnut lattes so I’m buying an espresso machine and a coffee grinder. But I’m not sure which brand to buy, I can only afford either a Mr. Coffee or a Hamilton Beach. Can anyone tell me which is better based on your experience. Thank you.

Coffee grounds texture??

My guy and I just got a new coffee grinder to go with our coffee maker. It has 3 settings to choose from: percolator, drip and espresso. Could anyone tell us the differences in these settings? Would one of these grind finer than another and how would it affect the resulting brew?

Coffee lovers, these are questions for you!?

I have several questions about coffee for the Yahoo Answers Community could answer. This is a poll and information questions all in one.

1) Is there a right way to drink coffee? Is cream, milk, 1/2 & 1/2, etc bad?

2) If you have a French Press, Espresso Machine, Auto Drip Coffee Maker, or Instant Coffee; which would you use? And Why?

3) If you have a French Press, Auto Drip Coffee Maker, or Instant Coffee; Which do you use for a strong cup of coffee? And How?

4) If you have a big container of pre-grounded coffee or a small bag of whole coffee beans; Which do you use first? What do I do with the other? (All original packaging) What will air-tight containers do to coffee?

5) You have a espresso machine, pre-grounded coffee, and a coffee grinder; is it OK to fine grind the coffee and use it? Will it be better if I use coffee beans?

6) Ignoring cost, Which would you do? Brew your own coffee/espresso or Buy one at a coffee shop?

7) If you want to buy a cup of coffee/specialty drink (Iced or espresso, etc.) Where do you go: Coffee Shop or Fast Food Restaurant. Why?

Feel free to answer as many of my questions as you wish.
Some other questions or info I forgot to add.

1) Using a French Press, Is it bad to brew for a long time? How long should it take?

2) Is it bad to buy bulk coffee? (300+ cup containers of grounded coffee? If I do have it, what should I do with it?

3) So, If I have bulk coffee (Like from the question above) I can’t use it in an espresso machine? (Finely Ground the grounds.)

4) Iced coffee, is it evil? Is there a right way to make it? (I put hot coffee over a cup full of ice.) Should I use espresso or strong coffee for it?

5) If I want to make my own espresso specialty drink (Cappuccino, Latte, etc) How much milk do I use to steam per shot?

6) Steam milk, What kind of milk should I use? Whole, 2%, 1%, Skim, or Half & Half? Can I use other kinds? (Ex: Soy, Rice)

Received soft bricks of ground coffee, stale??

I don’t own a coffee grinder, so I order my espresso ground already. It normally comes in very hard(freeze dried??) bricks. When I received via UPS the coffee bricks the other day, one of the four bags was really soft. I was told that would not make the espresso stale; sometimes that happens in shipping/handling. Also told only way it would be stale, would be if coffee was leaking out of bag. Is this true? I was under the impression the coffee brick staying really rock hard is what kept it from becoming stale. (I do know coffee can begin the "stale" process immediately after being ground, but it is still much, much tastier than store bought coffee/espresso). Thanks in advance.
